ACT Prep Sessions led by Hamlin teachers will begin first week of february to help students build confidence and strengthen test-taking skills. While students will prepare for the ACT in their core classes, additional preparation is strongly encouraged.

The ACT is a college admissions test that can impact college placement, dual credit opportunities, and scholarship eligibility. For students planning to attend college or qualify for merit-based scholarships, taking and preparing for the ACT is an important step. All juniors will take the ACT at Hamlin in March as part of the state-required testing.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness with be visiting Hamlin Elementary next week and again the first week in March to educate our Kindergarten-5th grade students on their mental health and well-being. They will also be providing a parent presentation on Wednesday, February 4th, at 6:30pm for all Hamlin parents to gain more information and resources to support your child regarding their mental wellness. Attached is a letter with information from NAMI regarding the elementary program as well as the parent presentation.
